Distaclor / Ceclor® (cefaclor)

Distaclor / Ceclor® (Cefaclor) is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum second-generation oral cephalosporin with documented activity against many Gram positive (+) and Gram negative (–) pathogens, as well as some anaerobes.

Distaclor / Ceclor® (Cefaclor) is a widely used oral cephalosporin for empirical treatment of infections because it:

  •  Covers the common causative bacteria in respiratory, skin and urinary tract infection
  •  Has proven bacterial and clinical cure rates
  •  Well-tolerated with less GI adverse events compared to amoxicillin-clavulanate
  •  Promotes compliance with twice-daily dosing and excellent tissue penetration
  •  Offers tasty strawberry flavor suspension for children 

Vancocin®
Vancocin® is a chromatographically purified, tricyclic glycopeptide antibiotic indicated for initial therapy in the treatment of serious or severe infections caused by susceptible strains of methicillin-resistant (beta-lactam-resistant) staphylococci, such as endocarditis, septicemia, bone and joint infections, lower respiratory tract infections, and skin and skin structure infections. Vancocin® is marketed by Invida in Korea and Taiwan.
