David Ng, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining INVIDA as the Chief Financial Officer, David was Group CFO of The Global Brands Group, an Intellectual Property trading group based in Singapore.

Previously he has had stints as Regional CFO for MTV Networks Asia covering the Asia Pacific region and the EMEA region for Mediaedge:cia, a part of WPP Group. He has also worked at Bankers Trust in Regional business development roles in Asia after his qualification as a Chartered Accountant.

He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and holds an MBA and an MEc from Macquarie University, Australia and a BEc from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Marcus Klein has more than 14 years of experience in Global Clinical Development and Medical Affairs with Schering AG and recently Bayer Schering Pharma. Before arriving in Singapore in 2005, he was holding different management positions in R&D, based in Germany and in the UK. During his career with Schering AG he was responsible for their European Clinical Operations, and in 2002 he became the European Head for Clinical Development, Oncology.

In 2005, he was appointed by Schering AG as Regional Medical Director for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Before joining INVIDA in November 2007, Marcus was the Medical Director for South Asia, South East Asia & Hong Kong for Bayer Schering Pharma.

Marcus received his medical degree from Free University, Berlin.

Dr. George Eassey has more than 22 years experience in the multinational pharmaceutical industry. In the last 13 years, he has gained extensive marketing and general management experience in the South Asian region by building strong organisations that meet corporate growth and profit objectives.

He has been responsible for building sustainable productive relationships with client companies and developing strategies to achieve long term objectives.

Renaat Janssen, VP Primary Care

Renaat Janssen assumed the role of General Manager, North Asia in January 2006. Previously, he held the position of Country Manager Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

Prior to joining INVIDA, Renaat served as Financial Controller for two years before moving on to different Sales & Marketing Management roles for Mölnlycke Healthcare. In 2002, Renaat played a central role in setting up the BD Center of Excellence in Thailand, spearheading several regional and local business development projects. Under his leadership as Regional Business Development Manager, new business models and systems were implemented, which helped to extend the company's network of regional alliances.

Renaat holds a masters degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Hasselt, Belgium.

Nick Plumeridge has 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held various sales and marketing management roles with MNC's including Serono and Hoechst-Roussel (Aventis). During a 10-year career with Quintiles, he held a variety of senior management roles including UK Sales Director, Operations Director Australia, GM Philippines, Regional Projects Director SEA.

His work experience in Asia over the past 9 years has included establishing and managing operations in Japan, China, Taiwan, Philippines and Malaysia. Prior to joining INVIDA, he was VP Marketing (Global) for Singapore-based Biotech, Rockeby Biomed.

Nick graduated from University of Essex (UK) with a degree in Biological Sciences and Genetics.

Hans Christian Hansen, Director Dermatology
Hans Christian Hansen, Director Dermatology

Before joining INVIDA, Hans Christian Hansen was Regional Marketing Manager and Area Sales Manager, Japan and South Korea, in LEO Pharma Asia. His 9 year career in LEO Pharma started in Corporate Marketing in the LEO head office in Denmark, followed by positions as product manager in affiliates in Ireland and Canada. In 2002 he joined the EU sponsored Executive Training Programme (ETP) Japan, which included intensive training at Japanese companies Takeda and then Kuraya Sanseido. Having completed ETP he became Representative Manager for LEO in Japan until his transfer to Singapore in 2005.

Hans Christian holds a M.Sc. in International Business and Modern Languages from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, part of which was completed in the US at the University of Washington MBA programme. He has since participated in executive training programmes at INSEAD in finance, sales management and negotiations.

Siew Sook Yee, Regional HR Director
Siew Sook Yee, Regional HR Director

Siew Sook Yee graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. She was also awarded with a Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and a Diploma in Training and Development.

Sook Yee began her career in human resource more than 15 years ago, having worked in local and multinational organisations, which include a statutory board, GE Aviation and the Keppel Group, where she held supervisory and managerial positions. She also headed the HR function in a regional IT company and regional transport company.

Sook Yee is responsible for the human resource function for the Asia Pacific region.
